TJ Halsey

TJ Halsey is originally from Detroit, Michigan, but spent summers down south in Birmingham, Alabama, and eventually relocated there with her family. TJ had the fortunate opportunity to grow up around her grandparents. Being surrounded with such love and wisdom helped shape her life and her affinity for caregiving. TJ is now the mother of two beautiful children, Christopher and Victoria.

In2013, at the age of 36, her husband passed away from an illness that he fought for three years. It was during that time that she experienced firsthand the importance of caregiving, and just how much it can test faith, strength, and resolve while juggling the roles of wife and mother.

For the last 24 years, TJ has worked in healthcare, most recently at one of the largest healthcare payors in the country, serving as a territory manager covering over 30 counties. She facilitated large-scale corporate initiatives managing healthcare and specialty networks, primary care and Medicare. It is this vast professional experience and exposure, coupled with her personal journey caring for her grandparents as they aged, and her husband until he passed, which has driven her desire to assist people with unique care needs that are often unmet.

The age of the “silver tsunami,” as it is called, is here. Given TJ’s love for the senior population and their growing care needs, she feels that now is a more important time than ever to help guide and educate seniors and families on the best options available to meet and exceed their needs. Building a solid reputation of trust among families is integral while preserving the dignity and quality of life that their loved ones deserve.
