"I call Darin an angel, which makes him uncomfortable but it is true. I didn't know where to begin to identify appropriate, quality care for my husband, whose status had changed from self-sufficient to bedridden in a matter of weeks. Fortunately, I found Darin through a google search for senior care resources. He answered my initial call personally, asked a lot of questions to get a sense of our needs, and then met with me. Darin not only identified several care companies for our consideration, but arranged interviews with them and even offered to sit in. A family member and I took him up on that, and his participation proved invaluable. We were under time pressures to finalize and implement a decision during a holiday week. Darin intervened and advocated for us in a situation that required the coordination a mong three different service providers, one of whom was holding things up. Thanks in large measure to Darin's help, we resolved the issues and ended up with a solution that is working. Darin listens, he takes initiative (with your permission), he problem solves, he devotes an incredible amount of time to the case, and he explores solutions regardless of whether he will be financially compensated.
