At Oasis, we listen with an understanding and attentive ear to help match each senior’s needs with their ideal community and act as a trusted resource for families.
I was raised in Massachusetts but have lived in South Jersey for close to 10 years with my family, and I am excited to serve this community. I have spent my professional life in service to others, and I believe that seniors deserve to maintain their dignity and quality of life as they make this major transition. At Oasis, we work tirelessly on behalf of families to help ensure this happens.
From my time as a product manager for over-the-counter medicines, to helping parents of children with learning disabilities connect to resources, to bringing awareness to the health benefits of daily walks, the common thread throughout my professional journey has been a commitment to improving the quality of life for children, adults, and families. In this next phase of my career, I am honored to have the opportunity to provide support to seniors and their families at Oasis.
My name is Josephine Washington, CALA, CDP, ADC. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and moved across the Bridge to New Jersey when I was still in High School. I reside in southern New Jersey, where I continued my education and began a rewarding career in geriatric healthcare. I have a beautiful family that includes my husband and four children, along with our dog Leroy.
My career journey began in the geriatric healthcare industry thirty plus years ago when I was a freshman in college. I worked in different facilities such as Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), Long Term Care Facilities, Sub-Acute Rehabs, Assisted Living Communities and Adult Medical Day Centers. I have held positions including Activities Aide, Activity Director, Volunteer Coordinator, Director of Sales and Marketing, Residence Director, Administrator, Executive Director, Center Director, Community Outreach Specialist and now Senior Living Advisor.
It is with great privilege and humility to have had these vast opportunities to interact with and serve a multitude of different people from all walks of life.
As an Oasis Senior Advisor I am fortunate to continue my mission in helping Seniors and their families make some of the most important decisions of their lifetime by promoting quality of life with compassion and dedication as they transition into a new Senior living community.
