I live in CT. and my brother in NJ., and had been searching for help. I had contacted many different services , agencies, community action groups, HUD, and other resources for months without much success. A relative in NJ contacted a Social Worker friend, who told us about Oasis and helped us contact Rashonda and we finally had someone who actually assisted us with placement options for my brother. His only income was Social Security and he required a skilled nursing facility covered only with Medicaid. We finally succeeded in placing him and couldn't have done it without her help.
