ABOUT YOUR ADVISORS IN Cleveland West
John Holcomb
President & Certified Senior Advisor®
Thank you for your interest in Oasis Senior Advisors Central Ohio.
I was born and raised a Buckeye in Central Ohio. My wife and I chose to raise our family here because we love the people, the opportunities, the seasons, and having access to some of the best healthcare around.
I spent 25 years in the financial industry helping people realize their dreams and offering assistance and guidance when times were difficult. Today, I continue to assist people by working with seniors and families – face-to-face – to identify their needs and match them with their ideal assisted living community. I have experienced firsthand the stress that health issues can place on a family. Empowering clients to maintain their dignity and quality of life is a privilege, an honor, and a responsibility that I take very seriously.
If you or a loved one are in need of guidance or insight to determine the best quality of life options, my mission is to be there – by your side – acting as guide and resource during your transition.

I was born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina in a very small town so small that if you blink, you just might miss it. I moved to Northeast Ohio a little over twenty years ago with my daughter and it is here that I still call home after all this time. I truthfully could not imagine living anywhere else, although I may sing a little bit of a different tune come March when we’ve had a particularly rough winter and I am practically begging for spring. But I do love this area so much because of the amazing diversity, its beautiful seasons, and all of the kind people I have met over the years. I have worked in healthcare in some capacity since my early twenties. However, it was about eight years ago when I found my love of long-term care admissions that I realized my passion for helping to guide seniors and their families through the process of navigating the everchanging healthcare system. And it is always changing. That is why it is so important to have someone in your corner not only advocating for you but also giving you information you may not have known otherwise or simply advising you on what questions to ask. There are just so many resources out there designed to help our seniors that could be missed if you do not know where to look. It is my goal to share everything I have learned over the years and everything I know so at the end of the day, the process of picking home for your loved one’s next stage of life doesn’t have to be so stressful.
