We take pride in the personal, compassionate service we provide to seniors and their families. Meet our Oasis team, your trusted partner for senior living and resources.
I started Oasis Senior Advisors in 2018 after my hospice tenure and as an assisted living community executive director. Professionally, I realized the necessity for guidance and support families need when trying to navigate care options for their senior loved ones. I also understood on a personal level as I was the main caregiver for my grandparents. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and eventually passed after 8 years. My grandfather, unable to maintain his home on his own, moved in with me shortly after and I remained his sole caregiver for nearly 11 years. He was my rock and inspiration to work with the senior population.
My husband, Jason, was my biggest cheerleader when starting Oasis and would attend Oasis conventions with me over the years. He became a part of the Oasis family. In 2023, we decided to make Oasis a family business, so he officially joined the team. Prior to this, Jason served in sales and management roles in the customer service industry for over 20 years. Together, we manage day to day operations while serving seniors and families with our motto, “Let our family help your family.” We work with clients to help meet their goals, reduce time, and stress, and provide extensive information for them to make a well-informed decision about senior care and senior living options. Life transitions can be difficult, but with the right support, they can be a positive time by maintaining dignity and promoting quality of life.
Our blended family includes two sons, a daughter, and five dogs. In our leisure time, we enjoy playing cornhole with friends, fireside chats, traveling as much as possible, and enjoying sporting events. Although we don’t share the same love for football teams, (I’m a Dallas fan and he’s a Commander’s fan), we do share a love for the Baltimore Orioles!
I am a native of Waynesboro, PA. I moved to a small community in the mountains at the age of 16 and have loved the mountain life ever since. Over 33 years ago, within this community, I was fortunate enough to meet my partner, my best friend and husband, David. We have two amazing adult sons who we are very proud of and love dearly.I have over 27 years of experience working in the field of Geriatrics. For the last seven years, I served as an Admissions and Marketing Director for a small personal care community in Pennsylvania. My experience has shown me that there are so many families and seniors that need support in finding the right assisted living option. During my tenure, I have guided hundreds of families through the process of finding a community that will become their loved one's forever home. It's not always an easy decision or transition to make, but I am passionate about helping seniors and their families make a well-informed decision about finding the right senior living option.I am excited to bring my knowledge, compassion and dedication to supporting the efforts and mission of Oasis Senior Advisors. I feel this is a natural transition in my professional journey that will bring an abundance of opportunities to support seniors and their families in finding the right senior living option as well as additional elder care resources for support.
Shepherdstown, West Virginia has been my home since 2005. When I’m not working I love to entertain my two sons, their wives, three grandchildren and friends, college students, professors, artists, musicians, writers, poets and playwrights.Professionally, I possess 25 years of experience working with aging seniors across the continuum of care. I discovered the calling to this profession after taking on the primary caregiving role to my mother-in-law whose life was irrevocably change after a serious stroke. Building partnerships with the many healthcare providers involved in my mother-in-laws care inspired and empowered me as I learned how to help an individual journey through a life altering condition. I continued working with aging seniors in many capacities including programming coordinator in a medical adult day center,- Community Relation Liaison in a Nursing/Rehab Center., Activities Director in Nursing Home, Service Advisor for Non-Medical Home Care agency, Hospice Volunteer, Admission Director in Nursing/Rehab, an most recently Sales Manager for an Assisted Living community. My career path continues with unwavering commitment to building trusted relationships with all involved in the circle of caring for and about our aging population, especially for the most frail and vulnerable. My desire is to be the expert and trusted advisor to anyone seeking senior care and lifestyle options. Oasis Senior Advisors is a mission driven organization that values commitment to the concept of “person centered care”, serving all stakeholders with highest standards of customer service. Joining Oasis as a Senior Advisor gives me the opportunity to be part of a team that is making a difference every day in the lives of elderly seniors and those that love and care for them.
I was born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia. From an early age, I learned how difficult caregiving can be on family members. My mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis before I was born. After my father passed away from a heart attack at the age of 5, my sister and I took on caring for my mother throughout most of my life. I believe being put into a caregiver role at such an early age made me who I am today. It gave me the drive to help people in the best way I know possible. I have over 15 years of experience working with older adults in the Social Services field. I started as a social service specialist at ManorCare in York, Pennsylvania. I, then, moved to Baltimore in 2012 and continued my work advocating for patients at Powerback Rehabilitation in Lutherville, Maryland as a specialist and then director of Social Services for almost 10 years. Throughout my tenure in Social Services, I provided guidance to my patients and families to help alleviate the uncertainty that comes with finding the right services for their loved ones..I am very excited to take on this new role with Oasis Senior Advisors. I carry a real passion and desire to make your journey easier by advocating and providing resources in order to find the best possible placement for your loved one. Through my assistance, we will find the most ideal solution together.
I’m a native of Frederick County Maryland, who grew up watching my mom and grandmother provide support and care for our aging family members. I was taught early on to always respect and assist my elders in any way possible. I went to college at Arizona State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology. Returning to Frederick, I worked with families in need of mental and behavioral health services for several years. Becoming a married, mom of two myself, I opened and operated my own daycare center until my kids were able to start school. When I was ready to return to my career, I wanted to do something I loved, remembering how rewarding it always was to help seniors, so I sought opportunities to serve them. Over the past 15 years, I served as Director of Social Services in skilled and long-term care facilities in both Frederick and Washington Counties. A few years ago, I was introduced to Oasis Senior Advisors and swiftly became a firm believer in their mission. They successfully placed some of my residents and calmly guided those families, who were experiencing a crisis with limited options, to their forever homes. It was great to hear the feedback from those who used their services, and they were always very appreciative of my referral to Oasis Senior Advisors. I have a genuine passion and heart for helping individuals find and lead their best life, quality above all else, and am more than willing to provide that support and guidance along the way. I am thrilled for this chance to be your Senior Living Advisor.
