Senior Neighbors serves over 4,000 older adults each year, helping them stay independent through a wide range of essential services and operates five Senior Neighbors centers. These services promote the well-being of older adults, especially to those with physical, social or economic needs living in Kent County.

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Our vision is a World Without Alzheimer's Disease. The Greater Michigan Chapter's West Michigan Regional office is located in Grand Rapids and covers Kent, Ottawa, Ionia, Montcalm, Mecosta and Osceola counties and offers the following services:

Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) of West Michigan is one of a nationwide network of nonprofit agencies created by Congress to be one-stop shops with information about programs, services and housing options. AAAs were created in 1974 by the federal Older Americans Act with the mission of creating home and community-based services to maximize the independence and dignity of older adults. AAAs work hand-in-hand with a statewide network of over 1,200 service providers including county commissions on aging, senior centers and home health agencies.
