I grew up in a small town in NE Wisconsin. I started my work career 20 years ago at the US Department of Education in Washington, DC and thought I would have a career in government. I wanted to help people and quickly learned that was difficult in a government setting. I also missed Green Bay football. I have spent the last 7 years as a sales/project manager for a Wisconsin-based LED lighting company, ensuring all the right people and materials were in place to accomplish complex projects with an extreme focus on customer service.
I love the stories of people’s lives and find them fascinating. My grandfather was a big influence in my life. He started out in poverty and built a successful business that still stands today. He loved telling stories of being in the Service, about his business, and his family. In 2016 he had to go into assisted living due to deteriorating health, it was a stressful time for himself and for our family. We didn’t have anyone advising us on the proper questions to ask or steps to take.
Oasis gives me the opportunity to utilize my skills to help seniors and their families during a challenging time. My aim is to listen to each unique story and be a resource and partner during this transition. I look forward to your story.
