A Month of Second Wind Dreams

Many of you in the senior care industry are familiar with Second Wind Dreams®, an organization dedicated to changing the perception of aging through the fulfillment of dreams and its educational programs including its signature sensitivity training, the Virtual Dementia Tour®.
Throughout September, the nonprofit organization will showcase all of its “stars” on social media in a campaign called #StarsofAging.
It will share highlights of past and present Dream and Virtual Dementia Tour Events as well as itsNursing Home Grants and Gifts of Light (a program that provides holiday gifts and visits to skilled nursing residents with little or no family). The stories, photos, and videos will be shared via Facebook.
It’s not too late in submitting a dream and/or Virtual Dementia Tour® related stories photos, testimonials. Submissions can be emailed to amy@secondwind.org.
Second Wind Dreams® was founded in 1997, and since that time, it has become involved in more than 1,000 eldercare communities in 20 countries. It has weaved thousands of dreams from the simple to the sublime.
