Dave Stieglitz, Certified Senior Advisor®
"I am passionate about the lost art of customer service! It is critically important to connect with people to understand their needs before you can provide service. Accomplishing this with compassion and integrity is what drives me. I look forward to the opportunity to be of service during this critical time for you and your family."
Dave had a very successful 30+ year career in the hospitality industry, delivering high quality customer service on a daily basis. Along the way he mentored many subordinates into leadership positions of their own and was elected by his peers to State and National leadership positions within the industry. Dave has also served on various charitable boards, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for Children’s Miracle Network and Special Olympics. His faith and family are most important. Beyond that he enjoys most all sports, carpentry and continuing education.
"I saw my mom go through all stages of the aging process and wish I had found more people to provide professional guidance. I want to help you during this critical time, and provide the help that wasn’t there when I needed it."
Melanie has worked in various industries, sandwiched around raising her three daughters – one of whom has a disability. She learned advocacy from the inside and has been a guide to other families in their role as care givers and advocates for their own disabled children. She loves the beach, and absolutely adores her grandson!
Dave and Melanie have lived in Jacksonville since 1983. They have three daughters and a grandson.
While attending FSU, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in rehabilitative services, one of my favorite jobs was working in the activities department in a memory care unit. I enjoyed figuring out what made each resident happy, and then helping them enjoy each moment. After college, I worked at a private club for 10 years as a membership manager, and I loved the relationships I built with the members. After my second child was born, it was an easy decision to stop working and enjoy my children. Around that time, my grandparents moved to Florida. It was such a gift to spend quality time with them and help them in a caregiving role. This left me with such a love, appreciation for, and understanding of older adults. I was blessed to be with them as they aged and moved from independent living to assisted living, and two of them to a memory care facility. Finding the right facility is everything. We were very happy with our selections, and I want to help you make the right decision as well.
Now that my children are independent teenagers, I am ready to go back to work. I want to combine my appreciation for older adults and my strong desire for everyone to be in their perfect home, with my determined skills to make it so. It’s not just about a job, but a passion for helping people and developing relationships. I am eager to give families peace of mind during this overwhelming process. You can trust that I will work hard to find you the best home for your loved one, with the right needs and desires for them. I am very excited to join David and Melanie’s Oasis team in Jacksonville. I have lived here for 30 years and know this city well. I look forward to working with you, and helping you or your loved one transition into a new home that will help them thrive!
ABOUT YOUR Daytona ADVISOR
Tom Mondloch, Certified Senior Advisor®
I grew up in the Midwest with a large extended family that included many elders. Some of my best childhood memories are of Sunday afternoons spent listening to stories of my grandparents, great-aunts and -uncles, and older family friends. In them I found wisdom, courage and caring. As I pursued college and a career, I followed my passion for elders by obtaining a master’s degree in aging and then, in serving the residents of retirement communities, assisted living and long-term care centers in three different states over the past 35 years. I am currently licensed as an Assisted Living Administrator and Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Florida.
I have come to believe that my purpose in life is simple – to love and serve others. In my work with Oasis Senior Advisors I fulfill my purpose by being of service to you and your family during this time of transition. I learned about Oasis Senior Advisors while working as the executive director of a large assisted living center in Jacksonville, Florida. Through the eyes of the elders and their families who came to visit our community, I experienced the highest level of customer service provided by our local Oasis Senior Advisors. Time after time, our assisted living center was identified by Oasis as a perfect fit for both the elders’ healthcare needs and their lifestyle preferences. We were able to partner with Oasis and the elders/families to achieve a successful transition. I now look forward to partnering with you and your family as an Oasis Senior Advisor.
