ABOUT YOUR ADVISOR in LArgo & Pinellas County
Thank you for your interest in Oasis Senior Advisors Pinellas County.
I was born and raised in West Virginia where I served my community by providing Socially Necessary Services (SNS), working closely with children in the Foster Care System. After moving to Florida in 2007, I began working in the public school system as a Behavior Specialist; helping students manage the day to day functions to succeed with educational goals. After frequent visits to the Tampa Bay area, my partner and I moved to Largo after falling in love with its people and community.
Today, I continue to assist people by working with seniors and families – face-to-face – to identify their needs and match them with their ideal assisted or independent living community. Having experienced my own parents' transition from home to community living, I understand the difficulties families encounter when making such important decisions. Encouraging clients to maintain their dignity and quality of life is an honor and a responsibility that I take very seriously.
If you or a loved one are in need of guidance or insight to determine the best quality of life options, my mission is to be right by your side acting as guide and resource during your transition.
Thank you for your interest in Oasis Senior Advisors.
Born in a small town near Montreal, my native language is French. I loved the city but soon developed a desire to move to a warmer climate. In 2004, I finally had an opportunity to pursue my career in engineering and architecture in Orlando.
After a few trips on the west coast, we developed an affinity for the area and decided to move to Largo in 2016. For the most part of my career I worked behind a desk, but always wish I had more interaction with my community, so I started to look at other options for work.
When I first considered working as an Oasis advisor, I thought this would give me the opportunity to be more out there, interacting with the community and building relationship with lots of people, something I always wanted to do. I consider myself a good team player and a people person.
Being involved with the city of Largo as a community development advisor also feeds my interests in architecture but helping the seniors and their family with issues of aging gives me a great sense of accomplishment.
