Seth and I are native Oregonians. After graduating from PSU and serving time in the US Coast Guard, I have actively been involved as a volunteer at my kids' school. Seth is an OSU graduate and has worked in operations management in the Portland area. In addition to enjoying the culture that Portland has to offer, we enjoy running and all things outdoors on Mt. Hood.
Seth and I pride ourselves as being very approachable and cherish an opportunity to help better someone's life. Oasis provides this unique connection we have been seeking. We are impressed by the quality of services that Oasis allows us to of fer on a consistent basis. Having personally been through the challenges of finding a home for a loved one, we understand the confusion you may feel. Seth and I are dedicated to making this transition process a warm and positive experience for you and your family. We are a free service to families in Clackamas and Multnomah counties and we’d love an opportunity to serve you.
I am a native Oregonian, born and raised in Southern Oregon. After graduating from SOU with a degree in Criminology, I went on to work in the regulatory and criminal justice field as an Investigator for ten plus years with the Colorado Secretary of State's Office and Oregon Department of Justice. I have strong ties in the community through volunteering at my kids' schools and as a leader of my daughter's Girl Scout troop. Living in the Pacific Northwest has given my family many opportunities and we enjoy snow skiing, camping, hiking, fishing and traveling any chance we get.I pride myself on being an active member of our community and Oasis Senior Advisors gives me the opportunity to help families and seniors during an important life transition. As a Certified Senior Advisor specializing in senior living services, my goal is to help make the transition to a new home as stress free as possible. I work on behalf of my clients with their best interests in mind and I look forward to the opportunity of serving you free of charge in the Portland Metro Area.
I am originally from Texas and have lived in several other states including California and Ohio. I moved to Oregon in 2012 along with my husband and daughter. It is by far the best place I've ever lived. Our family immediately felt very at home, and we can't imagine living anywhere else. I love to travel, and have been to Germany, Austria, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand. I am currently planning a trip to Israel. I also greatly enjoy camping and exploring all the beautiful places Oregon has to offer. A weekend spent outdoors, driving in my Jeep, swimming in a river, and hanging in my hammock is my idea of a good time.My professional life has also been quite varied, and I have worn many hats. I have been a floral designer, a camp counselor, a photographer, a salesperson, a business owner, a marketing director, a traveling marketing director, and more. I even sold cars once, just for fun. All my careers have been strongly centered around people. My very favorite thing about working with Oasis Senior Advisors is that I get to be alongside seniors and their families to help them navigate through transition. Though transitions can feel daunting, they do not have to be difficult. Families can put their trust in me and know that I take that very seriously. I am proud to be part of an incredible team of like-minded people.
Born and raised in Minnesota (yeah hey you betcha), my husband and I moved here to be near friends and family in 2015. The PNW winters are much more tolerable than the subarctic wind chills and below zero temps in Minnesota. It's pretty great living close to a mountain and the ocean. My husband and I enjoy snowboarding at Mt. Hood in the winter and hanging out at the beach in the summers. My biggest passion is helping seniors. I have worked in the senior living industry for over 15 years in several different roles and settings. I started as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in long term care. I also spent some time managing independent senior living communities. Last few years I was working in a sales coaching role mostly with assisted living and memory care communities all over the western half of the country. In October 2019, I decided to venture out as an independent consultant where I have the ability to share my knowledge from the industry with families as they navigate the challenges and discussions related to care options for their loved ones. I was drawn to join team Oasis Senior Advisors because of the ethical business practices, their positive reputation, and the integrity of the team. Coming from working in a community setting, I had the opportunity to work directly with other senior living advisors, and it was clear to me that Oasis Senior Advisors were a team of compassionate individuals focused on doing the right things in support of the client's wishes.
I was born and raised on the island of Saipan. My husband and I made the decision to move here in 2008 so that we could experience all that the PNW can offer. I was very fortunate to have had 2 loving and caring grandmothers growing up. I always felt loved when I was with them. They are the reason I enjoy helping others, most especially seniors. I hope is that I become like them when I become a grandmother myself. I have worked in the long-term care industry for over 14 years. My career began in 2008 as a caregiver with an Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Gresham OR. With hard work and dedication, I climbed up the ladder within that same company and sat as their Executive Director for the last 4 years. 2 of those years was working frontlines with my fellow healthcare heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic. In late 2021, I made a transition over to Oasis. It’s been a wonderful change of pace and a blessing to continue serving my community in a new way. I look forward to bringing the families I work with my expertise and experience in navigating senior care.
I've spent my whole life here in the Pacific Northwest. I genuinely love the rain. I was born in Seattle but spent most of my childhood in Southern Oregon with my large extended family. We enjoyed long summers on the river rafting, splashing around in Brookings, and camping at every opportunity. I moved up to Corvallis where I earned a bachelor's degree from the College of Health and Human Science at OSU. After I finished my undergrad in Human Services, I transitioned to Portland to earn my master's degree from George Fox. I taught for nearly ten years in Washington County before moving on after my husband and I welcomed our third daughter. In March of 2020, right as the pandemic was kicking off, the stars were aligning on my next professional venture. I feel so fortunate to use my background in social services and education working with families, helping them solve what can often be complex situations, and supporting their decision-making process. I keep mostly out of sight and love a good spreadsheet! You may not see me in person, but will probably talk to me on the phone while I assist our other advisors who are working hard to provide the absolute best service to our community.
Born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon I started my career in healthcare at an early age. In High school I was a Candy Striper for Providence St. Vincent Hospital and obtained my CNA license. I went on to study Nursing in College which led me to Home Health Care and eventually Human Resources. I obtained a certificate in Employee Relations Law and worked for a Hearing Health Care company for 20+ years. My husband of 27 years and I have two kids and three dogs. We have enjoyed volunteering for the OR Food Bank, Kiwanis, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and our kids’ schools, softball, baseball, and basketball organizations. I have always loved working with the Senior population and giving back to the community so, joining Oasis Senior Advisors was a natural transition for me. I genuinely appreciate the team of ethical, caring, compassionate, and diligent professionals I have the pleasure of working with. Oasis Senior Advisors is like no other and we welcome the opportunity to provide quality complementary services to your family.
I grew up in West Linn, Oregon and graduated from University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Minor in Anthropology. After college I worked as a Counselor and Case Manager in a secure treatment program for troubled youth for several years. I worked with kids ages 6-18 who were experiencing mental health challenges and learned skills in milieu management, crisis intervention & de-escalation, medication administration, and coordinated treatment plan reviews with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, state case workers and family members. In 2012 I broke into the senior living world as a Care Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility and memory care unit. I worked as the liaison between the hospital and facility when accepting new residents, gave clinical information to the insurance agencies on a weekly basis for continued authorization of therapy services, met with families and treatment teams for care conferences, and assisted in creating safe discharge plans. I held several other positions in different levels of care and most recently I managed an Independent Living program for 6 years.I live in my hometown with my husband Joe, our 2 boys, a Weimaraner, and a cat named Danger. We have a rowdy household and enjoy spontaneous dance parties, hiking, painting, and strategy board games. Our happy place is Neskowin on the Oregon Coast. I love the role of Senior Living Advisor – it aligns perfectly with my industry knowledge and desire to serve. I couldn’t ask for a better team than Oasis to learn from and grow with. I look forward to helping many families in the coming years.
I was born and raised in Southern Oregon. Growing up, my family and I loved spending time outside camping, swimming, going to the river and we always enjoyed getting together with extended family. I moved to Corvallis after high school where I earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Human Development and Family Science from Oregon State University. Before settling into a career, my friends and I traveled through Europe and made some incredible memories. In 2007 I made the move to Portland where I worked at a residential treatment facility for children suffering from emotional and physical behavioral issues. After that I found myself at a child development center working with younger children for several years. My husband and I married in the summer of 2013 and a year later we welcomed our first son. I was lucky enough to stay at home with my two sons until they were both in school. Now that my second son is in 1st grade, I am grateful to be joining the Portland Metro Oasis Senior Advisors Team and get my feet wet in the working world again!I am excited to help navigate and work through the decision-making process with families trying to find the right place for their loved ones. I truly look forward to putting my degree in social services to work helping those in the community.
I am a native Oregonian. My husband and I have lived in Happy Valley for many years. I graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Psychology and completed a Master’s Certificate in Gerontology from Texas Tech University in December of 2022. Our daughter recently graduated from college and moved out of state, so my husband and I are navigating the new role of empty nesters. I enjoy reading, spending time with my dog Louie, traveling, walking with friends, and attending local theater.
I started working with older adults while coordinating the Clackamas County RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) where I helped develop new sites and match participants with meaningful volunteer opportunities. I also served as the Resource Development Manager for a large local senior center. In 2016 I joined a small agency to assist families with finding housing and care for older adults. I feel so thankful to be a part of this wonderful Oasis team who shares my goal of providing ethical, quality services with our client’s best interests in mind. My passion for this work began when my father developed dementia. I was a part-time caregiver for him and managed his care during his challenging journey with Lewy Body and Alzheimer’s dementia. I understand how difficult it can be to place a loved one outside of the home. I value my clients’ trust and work hard to help them navigate this world of housing and care.
I feel fortunate to be able to be actively involved in my community and currently serve on the board of the Milwaukie Community Center Foundation. I am also a member of the Oregon Gerontological Association and the Oregon Senior Referral Agency Association, a sustaining member of the National Charity League, and have been a long-time volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association and the Milwaukie Community Center.
