Recipe: Artichoke Dip

Kick off any get together with this easy classic!

Ingredients:

1 Can (13.75 oz.) artichokes, drained and quartered

1 C Grated Pecorino Romano cheese

1 C Mayonnaise

1/4 t. Garlic Powder

1/3 C Seasoned bread crumbs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  1. Fold together artichokes, cheese, mayonnaise and garlic powder in medium bowl until well blended. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Place mixture in small casserole; top with even layer of bread crumbs.
  3. Bake 25-30 minutes on center rack - until bread crumbs are golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve with crusty bread or crackers.

Option: Add 5 ounces of shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese for extra rich and creamy flavor.
