Recipe: Three Ingredient Pulled Pork
Author: Lane Keating
Do you have a crowd coming and you’re already sick of hot dogs and hamburgers? This super simple recipe is sure to be a hit! No need to heat up the house by turning on the oven or stove - just fire up your crockpot!
- One Pork Shoulder Butt
- Two Bottles of Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
- One Jar of BBQ Seasoning
Place the pork butt into a crockpot. Sprinkle with 1/2 jar of BBQ Seasoning. Fill the crockpot halfway up the pork butt with water. Turn on high until the water begins to boil, then reduce it to simmer and cook for approximately six hours. The pork is done when it begins to fall apart. Lift the pork out of the crockpot and drain the water. Shred the pork using two forks, discarding any pieces of fat. Place the shredded pork back into the empty crockpot and add one bottle of BBQ sauce. Mix thoroughly. Turn the crockpot on low for another hour, stirring occasionally. Add additional BBQ sauce as needed. Serve on rolls with plenty of napkins!
