Here’s a simple one that will wow your Thanksgiving weekend guests!
French Toast Casserole
16 oz loaf cinnamon raisin bread
6 eggs, beaten
3 Cups milk
2 t. vanilla extract
2 t. cinnamon
6 strips bacon, cooked crispy
Cube bread and put into a greased 3 qt shallow baking dish.
Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon and pour mixture over bread. Refrigerate for an hour, or over night. Preheat oven to 350, and bake for 50 minutes or until golden brown. 15 minutes before its done, crumble the bacon on top, and finish baking. Top with powder sugar when finished, and serve with maple syrup.
