Grilled Tequila Lime Chicken


1 1/2 Lbs. boneless chicken breasts (can also use chicken thighs)

2 Cloves garlic, minced

Lime wedges for garnish

Chopped cilantro for garnish


2 T. Olive oil

1/4 C tequila

2 T Lime juice

1 t. Cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste


Rub the garlic onto the chicken. Combine all marinade ingredients. Mix well and add chicken.  Stir to coat and marinate for 2 hours.

Preheat grill. Cook chicken, turning occasionally until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees (165 if using dark meat).

Garnish with a squeeze of lime juice and the chopped cilantro.  Serve immediately!
