I was born and raised in the Rogue Valley. After graduating from Warner Pacific College in Portland with a degree in Human Biology and competing in basketball and volleyball, I returned to my roots. It will always be home for me and now I get to raise my family here while doing what I love. I have two incredible, wild and funny little ones and an amazing life partner. I come from a large family who was very involved in athletics and activities. I enjoy playing with my kids and spending time outdoors with my family and garden.
My love for the senior community began as an in-home caregiver after I returned home from college. It was an incredible journey and will always be the most humbling time of my life-a true gift. After seeing a client through end of life, I was asked to be the community outreach person for that Home Health and Hospice company. I facilitated home services for patients in Josephine, Jackson and Klamath county for almost 6 years. Through this I gained many longtime friendships. When my second child was born, I took a position at a local assisted living community helping families find safe and comfortable living for their loved ones. I worked with them for almost 4 years. While working at the assisted living community, I had the opportunity to work with the Oasis team and was consistently impressed with the level of integrity, professionalism and care they always displayed. It is hard to put into words the excitement I feel about being a part of the Oasis group. For me, it is the perfect opportunity to give back to the community I live in and love. I look forward to coming alongside families as a trusted partner in the search to find the perfect home to meet the needs and desires for their loved ones.
Raising a family in Southern Oregon has been a blessing. It is a very tight knit community with so many wonderful people and so much to do. From camping, swimming, hiking, and short trips to play in the snow, there are endless opportunities to create lifelong memories.
I’ve always thrived in positions that allow me to help others and seek out opportunities to do just that. Working alongside families and helping to educate them is what fills my tank daily. The knowledge that I can empower families with to help limit risk in making the best choice for their loved one is what it’s all about.
This is what led me to my role with Oasis Senior Advisors. Now I can help people find solutions to all obstacles in their way. I’m very excited to work side by side with so many wonderful families. My goal is for my knowledge, follow through, and personalized service to be the difference in making this transition as smooth as possible.
