My passion for helping seniors and their families was ignited by the experience of helping my parents. My mom had dementia the last 15 years of her life and required two moves: first, to an assisted living home, and then to a memory care center. I know first-hand how difficult it is for seniors and their families to navigate this complicated and emotional series of life changes. I also am familiar with how satisfying it was to find the right new home where my mom was able to live with dignity and comfort. Now, I'm happy to use my experience to help your family find the right home for your loved one.
I was born and raised in Minneapolis, where I attended Washburn High School. I am a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and I have also earned an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Before becoming a Senior Advisor, I held a career in health insurance, where I worked most recently with United Healthcare. I've found my background in health insurance to be especially helpful when it comes to providing the best possible advice for my clients. In my free time, I'm active in my church and serve on a local non-profit board. My wife, Peggy, and I live in Edina and have two adult daughters.
